Our Purpose
CanLiveWell is an organization that is focused on supporting the health and well-being of marginalized communities (Black, Indigenous, Visible minorities, Youth, Seniors, and Newcomers).
We aim to improve overall wellness for all people but primarily the BIPOC communities and other marginalized groups in Greater Toronto and surrounding regions who are often underrepresented and underserved within the health and fitness industry.
We have created CanLiveWell, and it's sister non-profit, CanStayFit, to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in health, fitness, and nutrition.
Promoting Health in the Community
CJ Chujor
CEO of CanLiveWell
Having grown up in a marginalized community, I know how important it is to have access to diverse and affordable health and fitness resources. My goal in creating this organization is to help support individuals and families from the BIPOC, senior, and newcomer communities by giving them access to options that can help them maintain healthy lifestyles.
I have worked in community development for 10 years, supporting marginalized individuals and families. I also know some excellent health and fitness professionals who are from these communities and I am grateful for the opportunity to use my organization to shine a light on the great work that they do and the initiatives that are important to them.
